Welcome!

Welcome to the Siloam Ministries Leadership development programme.  We are just as excited as you and welcome you as you take the time to develop the leader within you.

Everyone is called to lead and it is God’s plan for every person to lead and we all lead in some capacity in our lives. It is the desire of our Bishop to see leaders equipped to become effective people who can change the world around them and we can change the world, one person at a time. In order to fulfill the vision of the ministry, Connect to God, Connect to Ministry, Connect to the World, we realize that it will take leaders like you to fulfill this vision. Our vision is to become a church of significant influence, a church that is visible, influential, and able to touch and change all lives. To achieve such significance and the call of the Great Commission, requires your commitment and dedication to develop the leader in you.

We thank you for your commitment as we answer the call to serve in the local ministry and Body of Christ.

The opportunity presented here is to learn from the greatest book ever written, it has been the same for thousands of years and has the potential to change your entire life and your development as a leader. This book is none other than God’s Holy Bible, and what better source to learn from other than from our Creator and His inspired Word.

We know that as we journey along together you are going to grow and achieve great things.

Church Vision

The vision of the ministry is, Connect to God, Connect to Ministry and Connect to the world, we also know our Bishop very well and know that he is a man that loves people dearly, and it is this love and passion for people to see them grow, and grow into their full potential. Bishop Lazarus loves to see people increase and move from brokenness to significance. Bishop has not only a heart for a few people; he wants to touch an entire generation with the Love of God. You cannot meet Bishop and not experience his genuine love, care and concern; a people’s person and a Godly man that wants to propel this ministry even to higher heights.

Our Answer to the Call

It was Jetro who saw Moses burdened and advised him to raise leaders who can help shoulder the burden. It is this same call that we are making to all leaders to shoulder the burden.  Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)

37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

God has called us to Lead

Genesis 1:26 says “let us make man in our image, according to our likeness and let them have dominion…” This clearly tells us that God has called us to lead, if I had to ask you the question, Is God a leader? Your answer would most definitely be yes, if that answer is yes and you have been created in His image and likeness then surely you must be a leader as well.

A Shortage of Godly Leaders

George Barna says, “Leadership remains one of the glaring needs of the church. People are often willing to follow Gods vision, but too frequently they have no exposure to either vision or true leadership.” He also finds that the church is dying due to the lack of strong leadership and in this time of unprecedented opportunity and plentiful resources, the church is actually loosing influence. We need Godly leaders who will complete the work Christ has left us to do and leave an eternal impact on our generation.

It is Going to Take You to make an Impact

Whether you are a Moses who made all the excuses to walk away from leadership, or Jonah who just ran away or Gideon who was fearful, God has called all us according to Matthew 5:13-16 to be the salt and light of the earth.  In others words you are called to influence the world around you and by choosing to influence the world we know that your impact will leave a lasting legacy that will bring much Glory to God. We know that greater than resources, money or intelligence, it is leadership that is going to make the difference when it comes to making an impact on the world that we live in.

Leave a Lasting Legacy

We are challenging you to become a student of leadership, if you aren’t one already, to leave a spiritual legacy for our future generations. A legacy that transforms people’s lives from the inside out, and a kind of leadership based on character, conviction and Christ likeness. We are challenging you today to follow the pattern laid down in the greatest book ever written and be a godly leader.

Growth & Expansion

Siloam is also expanding and in order to meet this growth and expansion leaders are required to facilitate, manage and lead this expansion. It is going to take leaders like you that will bring this change and ensure high standards and consistency.

Skilled and Able Leaders

We are developing skilled and able leaders will carry the vision of the ministry to the next level. In order to bring the vision to pass it will take skilled leaders who can get things done and lift up the name of Jesus.

Great People do Great Things

We are a great people and can do great things, leaders inspire, motivate and cause people to accomplish far more than they thought possible. We are a Church on the Move ready to manifest what God has ordained for us.

Training Plan

The training plan is modeled to ensure there is a continuous development of leaders on a systematic basis throughout the months. The training model follows a good balance between theory and practical as we are confident that our leaders who complete the programme will be effectual in their area of influence, while at the same time exposing gifts and talents in the ministry. The training philosophy is train, equip and release people into their potential as well as making disciples of people.
